Machine-made sand stone powder is the dust collected and stored in the process of producing machine-made sand.However,the storage of these dusts takes up a lot of spaces,which will cause air pollution and water pollution.And it is also a waste of resources.In order to reuse the machine-made sand stone powder and explore its application prospects in the field of road engineering,this paper uses the machine-made sand stone powder as filler instead of part of the mineral powder in SMA-13 mixture.The properties of SMA-13 mixture and asphalt mastic prepared by machine-made sand stone powder are studied.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Material analysis of machine-made sand stone powder.The physical properties of the machine-made sand stone powder were measured by basic physical experiments,and its chemical composition was measured by X-ray fluorescence spectrum analyzer.The micro-structure of the machine-made sand powder was observed by SEM.The possibility of using machine-made sand stone powder as filler instead of mineral powder was studied by comparative analysis of machine-made sand stone powder and mineral powder.(2)Performance test of machine-made sand stone powder asphalt mastic.Through penetration test,softening point test and ductility test,the consistency,high-temperature performance and low-temperature performance of modified asphalt mastic and matrix asphalt mastic with different filler binder ratio and different mixing amount of machine-made sand stone powder were compared and analyzed respectively.The effects of the filler binder ratio and the mixing amount of machine-made sand stone powder on the performance of asphalt mastic were studied.On the premise of comprehensive performance of asphalt mastic,the optimal filler binder ratio of asphalt mastic was analyzed.(3)The gradation design of SMA-13 mixture of machine-made sand stone powder.The Marshall mix design method was used for gradation design of SMA-13 mixtures with different mixing amounts of machine-made sand stone powder,and the optimum asphalt-aggregate ratio of the composites with different admixing quantity of machine-made sand stone powder was obtained.(4)Road performance test of SMA-13 mixture mixed with machine-made sand stone powder.The water stability,high temperature stability,and low temperature crack resistance of SMA-13 mixtures with different mixing amounts of machine-made sand stone powder were analyzed.The influence of the mixing amounts of machine-sand stone powder on the residual stability,dynamic stability,flexural tensile strength and maximum flexural-tensile strain of SMA-13 mixture was studied.Under the premise of comprehensive consideration of the road performance of SMA-13 mixture,the maximum content of machine-made sand stone powder in SMA-13 mixture was obtained.
