To relief our traffic congestion in cities,the bus priority policy of public transportation within the urban network is one of the main mode,hence,the importance of bus system for urban transport system is revealed.In order to develop a bus operation network scientifically and rationally,and build bus operation management mode,improving the smooth running of public transportation system is a crucial point.The co-opetition between public transport networks is common in every stage of the public transport system from planning and design to operation.Moreover,while considering making a reasonable bus line during preliminary planning stage,to enhance the effectiveness of overall public transportation network service,researchers ought to concentrate on co-opetition relationship public transit networks.Moreover,as a concept of economics,the co-opetition theory is rarely used in the study of traffic behavior in the current domestic public transport research field.In summary,based on the perspective of research on the competing relationship between the public transport networks,it is feasible and innovative to analyze and discuss the layout of the public transport network.In this study,first,we apply qualitative research methodogy to study the co-opetition relationship based on the layout of public transit networks.By analyzing the internal elements which affect co-opetition relationship of internal bus line,and combining bus line layout pattern,we discus the different categories of the co-opetition relationship of public transit networks.Then,according to charateristics of bus line layout pattern,we select number of bus stations,bus station service area and their operation line as metric parameters.After,we apply quantitative research methodology.To be specific,we choose related bus stations as group to analise their effectiveness on co-opetition relationship of public transit networks.As well as we propose two calculation methods,includes a)coefficient of competition between bus lines;b)degree of cooperation of public transit networks,thereby derive coefficient of cooperation and competition in different categories of the co-opetition relationship of public transit networks.Finally,from both qualitative and quantitative research of co-opetition relationship of public transit networks,we build two-dimensional relationship matrix of public transit networks.Taking the matrix as reference,we propose public transit networks clustering method based on two-dimensional relationship,by using MATLAB to conduct AP clustering algorithm.Finally,clustering examples demonstrate,and to verify the feasibility of the method is reasonable.
