Urban transit corridor is the main artery of urban road network and the core trunk of urban public transportation. It is often equipped with rail transit or bus rapid transit line and dense bus lines, and has a significant impact on the overall capacity of the entire urban public transportation.Based on the theory of competition and cooperation, this paper studies the bus stop location and scheduling optimization in the urban transit corridor.Based on the theory of competition and cooperation, this paper analyzes its characteristics of urban public transport, and discusses its forms among public transport in the urban transit corridor. The evaluation method of competition and cooperation between different parallel public transportation modes based on Logit model travel decision probability are proposed. The evaluation method of competition and cooperation between parallel lines within buses based on the utilization effect of the system on road and facility resources are proposed as well.Based on the analysis of the factors affecting the decision making of public transport in urban transit corridor, the utility function of urban public transport travel is constructed. The decision-making characteristics of passengers along the urban transit corridor on public transport travel is analysed, and the evolution law of competition and cooperation between rail transit and parallel bus lines is clarified After determining the advantageous decision-making interval of the two modes of public transportation, the cooperation effect can be highlighted through the reasonable planning of the bus stop location. In this case, the rail transit can be better supplied by the bus,and the service capacity of the entire public transportation system can be improved. On this basis, combined with the form of land use along the urban transit corridor,in order to weaken the competition and strengthen cooperation as the goal, the bus stop location optimization model in the urban transtit corridor is established.Through case analysis,it is proved that the optimization results of the model can effectively reduce the pedestrian distance and travel cost of bus passenger, and improve the transfer efficiency between the two modes of public transport.By sorting out and improving the existing research results, the capacity and delay of bus in the urban transit corrido are analysed. The relationship model between the passenger turnover capacity and the bus frequency is established and the evolution law of the passenger turnover capacity is analyzed. It is found that the passenger turnover capacity of the bus in the urban transit corridor has a peak value under some conditions, and when the bus flow exceeds the corresponding peak value, the system will waste the resources.Based on this,a multi-objective optimization model of bus scheduling in urban transit corridors is established, aiming at the shortest average journey time and the lowest operating mileage in unit time.Through case analysis,it is proved that the optimization results of this model can significantly reduce the average travel time of passengers and the operating cost of the system, and weaken the competition of road resource within the buses under the condition of meeting travel demand and comfort.
