Across the high pier continuous rigid frame bridge as an important project of traffic line,the stress under seismic action is very complex,and the damage is great.Therefore,carry out a study into the seismic response characteristics and take reasonable of high pier long-span continuous rigid frame bridge and take effective shock absorption measures is very important.On the basis of analyzing the related literature,this paper summarizes suspension bridge seismic basic methods especially shock absorption measures about high piers and large span continuous rigid frame,and then put forward a kind of pendulous tuned mass damper device which is based on the traditional tuned mass damper system.Through the simplified analysis of the mechanical model of the bridge and the device,the basic principle of the device is derived.Using ANSYS finite element software to carry on the numerical simulation based on a seven span rigid frame bridge for engineering.Through the time history analysis method research in the difference of seismic response between frequent earthquakes and rare earthquakes before and after the device is applied.The study shows the law of function of the bridge with the device and discusses the reasonable effectiveness of the damping device.Through the parameter analysis,the quality ratio of the device,the damping ratio of the two parameters and the distribution position are optimized,and the reasonable and effective damping results are obtained.In order to provide a theoretical reference for the structural shock absorption of high pier large span continuous rigid frame bridge.The main results are as follows: 1.The pendulous tuned mass damping device can reduce the seismic response of the rigid-frame bridges with long span and high piers in elevated to displacement,shear force and bending moment.The effect in E1 earthquake under the action of the damping is more obvious than that in the E2 earthquake under the action of damping effect.2.The quality of the damping device and high damping parameters affect the earthquake response of the continuous rigid frame bridge with long span high piers.when the mass ratio and damping ratio increases in a certain range,the device damping effect is obviously enhanced,beyond the scope of the parameter change gear damping effects.3.The distribution of the device applied on the structure will affect the overall responses.When the devices are evenly distributed at the top of each bridge pier,the pier response were reduced,each part of the force is more uniform and reasonable than concentrating distribution.
