With the rapid development of China’s highway to the western mountains,landslides has become a "chronic illness" in the highway construction, destruction anddestabilization of the layered slope is one of the important problems in constructionprojects. The bedding rock slope have the same tendency with the slope.Bedding rockslope has a complex structure of the bedding, the characteristics of the rockcombination of multiple dip and weak interlayer, such slope excavation, due torainfall and construction blasting vibration of rock easily destruction along thesurface of layered structure, causing the slope to occurrence of various modes ofdestruction, and to become the focus and difficulty in the slope. At present, the studyof the slope of the bedding at home and abroad to obtain certain results, but littleresearch on layered slope composed of red sandstone. Therefore, to the red sandstonebedding slope failure mechanism and its retaining measures the slope of the red layerregion in Hunan has important practical significance.This paper will use Yan Ru high-speed red sandstone bedding slope as theprojects.Through on-site sampling, laboratory tests on red sandstone, get its physicaland mechanical parameters. Summarize the influencing factors of bedding rockslope,and to research it’s failure mode and failure mechanism. Summed up sevenfailure modes of bedding slope, and proposed the bedding rock slope theoreticalcalculation model and formula, and to provide guidance for the slope of qualitativeanalysis. Introduce FLAC3Dcalculation principles on layered slope stability analysis,combined with Yan Ru25tenders typical rock slope,and numerical analysis for theslope,To simulate the slope rock mass stress distribution in the excavation process.Through on-site monitoring, analysis of the potential sliding of the slope rock masswith depth and layers, provide guidance for slope reinforcement. Use FLAC3D tocalculated the stability of slop, the result show that the Slope in an unstable state. Putforward use total length of anchor to reinforcement of the layered slope throughnumerical simulation confirmed that the reinforcement effect.
