The slaving speed and stability of artillery will determine whether the artillery can accurately,quickly and stably identify and locate the target,so it is an important static test index to evaluate the performance parameters of artillery control system.In view of the complex operation and low accuracy in the traditional measurement of slaving speed,this paper proposes a method for measuring the slaving speed based on target imaging,which can be used as a reference for effectively evaluating the performance of artillery control system.In the traditional image acquisition process,the camera is installed on the gun barrel,which will cause large image distortion and serious jitter,we optimized the structure of the slaving speed measurement system in this paper.The laser pointer is installed on the muzzle of the artillery,the test target is erected in front of the artillery.And the camera is placed behind the target.Meanwhile,a high frame rate camera is used to capture the spot image,reduce the acquisition time interval and improve the measurement accuracy.In view of the shortcomings of the traditional image processing algorithm,we eliminated the error caused by optical distortion and perspective distortion first,and then proposed a method to automatically locate the reference point of the target plate,which can automatically identify the reference point needed for the perspective distortion transformation matrix.Moreover,the speed of the spot tracking algorithm is improved by setting the dynamic search domain,and the sub-pixel spot center positioning algorithm is adopted to improve the positioning accuracy of the spot center.Finally,the slaving speed is calculated by the spot displacement on the target plate and acquisition time.We developed a set of application software for slaving speed measurement system using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development tool.The quantitative analysis of the field experiment data of the slaving speed shows that the method proposed in this paper has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy,simple operation and less human interference,and it can meet the testing requirements of the artillery control system.
