The diesel engine is adopted by 95% of the ship as the main power source which release a great deal of pollutant.The life quality of resident around the canal is affected.Compared to diesel engine,the shore power has the following advantages.First,the shore power has different kinds of source,such as thermal power generation,hydro power,unclear power and renewable energy power generation.Second,the shore power has a higher heat efficiency.The heat efficiency of show power is 40%,however the heat efficiency of diesel engine is only 30%.In order to solve the problem of pollution,we use the shore power to replace the diesel engine.Aiming at Jinghang Great canal which has stable hydrological characteristics,a canal ship power system based on shore power was designed.According to the navigation feature of Canal ship,the solutions to problems of electric connection device,route deviation and switch tracks were proposed.The system thoroughly solved the problem of canal ship sewage discharges.At last,the experimental platform was built and the experiment was carried out.The work of this thesis is as follows:(1)The design requirements of the system are analyzed.The waterway classification and the height restriction of the Jinghang Great canal are collected through looking up document information and investigation.Then the feature of northern sector of Jinghang Great canal in jiangsu province is analyzed which have the best navigation condition and a lot of ship.The fluctuation of water level is collected in a year which is used to analyze the hydrological characteristics.At the same time the principal dimension of eight hundred ship is used to analyze the main ship form.At last,the requirements of the system are proposed.(2)The analysis of social benefit of the system is calculated.The social benefit of the system is analyzed from two aspects.First is the economic benefit and second is the environmental benefit.(3)The analysis and design of key Techniques are conducted.The software of CATIA is adopted to design the current connection device.In order to solve the problem of route deviation,the virtual track is designed in the Inland Electronic Navigation Charts.When the ship deviates the designed track,the system will give alarms.At the same time the area for switch track is set which can satisfy the demand of overtaking.At last,the emergency power supply system is designed in case the overhead power system has failure.(4)The design of experimental platform and the experiment is carried out.In order to verify the feasibility of the system,the experimental platform is designed and the experiment is carried out.The control circuit is designed by Altium Design and the control program is designed by Keil.
