Research On Technical Scheme For Shore Power Systems Of Ships In Ports

In recent years,the influence of ship exhaust on the port city has been increasing.The ship has become one of the sources of urban air pollution.The use of shore power system for ship can effectively solve the problem of pollution and noise.This paper introduces the background,policy,current situation and development trend of the shore power system for ship in the port,studies the platform technology of the shore power system,describes the composition of the shore power system and three power transmission modes of the shore power for ship,studies variable-frequency power supply,harmonic suppression,macro application of the frequency converter and other core technologies and proposes the configuration and demand of the shore power system for ship from providing berthing needs for a number of ships,providing the cable and auxiliary equipment of the shore power,providing the regulated shore power,protection and monitoring and system reliability five aspects.In this paper,the concept of the shore power system for low-capacity ship and that for high-capacity ship is put forward.With Jianhu Port and Dafeng Port as examples,starting from the existing terminal conditions,existing load and installed capacity,the demand for the shore power supply of the berthing ships is calculated.Combined with the grid situation of the port,the feasibility of ship connection with shore power system is studied,the technical program is proposed and the economic and social benefits of the program are analyzed.Through the research and analysis,it shows that the shore power system for ship can reduce the power supply cost of ship,save the equipment maintenance cost of auxiliary power generation,improve the efficiency of the port and reduce the noise to provide more comfortable living and working environment for the crew and port residents.The comprehensive promotion of the shore power supply technology will help solve the busy operation in the port,but also help achieve energy saving and emission reduction in the port,with important economic and social benefits.This research result provides the technical support for the shore power supply project in Jianhu Port and Dafeng Port and plays a guiding role in the following-up planning of the power supply system in the port area.
