Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(PMSM)have been used more and more in the automobile industry with advantages such as small in size,long lifetime,high efficiency and lower noise,etc.Sensorless PMSMs have a wider range of application and lower price.In vector control system of PMSM,it's of great importance to estimate the position and angular speed of rotor.So,the research and utilization of position and angular speed estimation algorithm have become a research focus in recent years.There is an in-depth study in mathematical model and vector control technologies of PMSMs in this paper.The merit and demerit of vector control strategies are analyzed,then built a simulation platform in Matlab/Simulink based on the strategy of for a non-salient PMSM.Two position and angular speed of rotor estimation algorithms have been derived,which are based on direct computing method and model reference adaptive system.On the basis of simulation,both of the two algorithms have great dynamic performance.The direct computing method has a small defect because of its open-loop characteristic,but it's more suitable for engineering application with small amount of calculation.The electrical parameters will vary in the actual situation,which would lead to inaccurate estimation results.And there a comparative study between parameter identification algorithms,which are based on MRAS an FFRLS.However,a problem arises because there's coupling between stator resistance and permanent magnet flux linkage.To solve this problem,a parameter identification scheme was put forward,which is based on marked permanent magnet flux linkage.The simulations and analysis of MRAS and FFRLS with fixed flux linkage shows,parameter identification based on FFRLS was proved to have more superior performance on account of its faster convergence,smaller identification error and there's no mutual interference in the results.Finally,the software and hardware of the vector control system are designed and manufactured,through the combination of direct computing method and the parameter identification algorithm based on FFRLS.It's confirmed that the vector control system of SPMSM which is based on the theories above is simply effective and of a great control performance,and has high practical value in engineering.
