Since the reform and opening up,with the continuous increase of urban population and the continuous expansion of space,China is currently faced with major challenges such as the shortage of land and space resources.The rapid development of urban economy and the rapid expansion of space have increased the demand for resources and the environment.As the level of pollution continues to deepen,and the eco-environment is under greater pressure,in this reality,the in-depth study of the interrelationship between urbanization and the eco-environment and the coordination between them will be of great significance in promoting more coordinated development of urbanization and eco-environment.This paper first introduces the connotation and characteristics of urbanization and eco-environment,and elaborates the interaction mechanism between them.Then,preliminary selection of urbanization and eco-environmental system evaluation indicators,using the SPSS correlation analysis method to eliminate indicators with higher correlation coefficient,and finally build an index evaluation system.The entropy method was used to assign data to the data concerning urbanization and eco-environmental assessment indicators of 30 provinces municipalities and autonomous regions from 2005 to 2016,and the level of urbanization and the overall measure of eco-environment quality were analyzed and evaluated.The research shows that during the period of the study,the values of the comprehensive index of urbanization and eco-environment in 30 provinces municipalities,autonomous regions in the country showed an overall upward trend,of which only individual regions in individual years showed a decline.Then,according to the coupling coordination model,the coordination values of urbanization and ecological environment in 30 provinces municipalities,autonomous regions in China were calculated,and the coordination values were analyzed and evaluated from two dimensions: time and space.The research shows that,overall,during the study period,the coupling and coordination model of provinces municipalities and autonomous regions experienced a period of development from uncoordinated period to transition period.However,it still did not rise to the advanced coordination stage.From the perspective of global correlation,the degree of coordination between urbanization and eco-environment systems shows a strong spatial dependence.From the perspective of local relevance,the provinces municipalities,autonomous regions in which China is in the “HH” agglomeration mode occupy the majority,and the number is increasing.Finally,based on the space Markov chain method,the coordination values of 2016 in 30 provinces municipalities and autonomous regions in China are predicted and compared with the actual values,and the urbanization and ecological environment coordination values in 2017 were predicted.The results show that the 2016 forecast results were basically consistent with the actual results,and the prediction accuracy reaches 90%.Based on LISA Markov chain analysis of the evolutionary trend of urban agglomeration and eco-environment coordination value spatial agglomeration model,the result analysis shows that the clustering patterns of urbanization and ecoenvironment coordination values in 30 provinces in China remain stable.
