Small caliber artillery plays an important role in military equipment all over the world because of its excellent maneuverability,high shooting speed and high hit rate.Small caliber artillery ammunition is the direct factor to combat damage target in the whole weapon system,and fuze is the most important factor of whether ammunition can play a role and achieve terminal damage effect.Fuze technology is one of the key technologies of national defense industry,which is the most advanced technology in many disciplines.Although some small caliber artillery ammunition imported from Switzerland has excellent tactical and technical indicators,because it does not have redundant insurance function,it is not satisfied with the delay of the release of insurance requirements.At the same time,the sensitivity of the explosive charge is too high,which does not meet the requirements of the national military safety standards of our country.In order to meet the requirements of the safety design criteria for fuze,it is necessary to redesign and improve its safety on the premise of meeting the function,index and shape size.Based on the requirements of the fuze engineering design manual,this paper analyzes the safety and reliability of the original fuze,the distance of the muzzle insurance,the self-destruction performance,the short delay performance,the high angle firing performance and the rain proof performance.Find out the aspects that are not consistent with the requirements of the current national military standard,and optimize the design of the original fuze.Secondly,this paper introduces the technical scheme and system composition after the optimization and improvement,and analyzes and explains the key points in the optimization and improvement system.Then,the optimization and improvement plan is calculated theoretically.On the basis of the calculation of the internal ballistic parameters,the safety of the service handling,the time of the gunpowder in the bore,the safety distance of the muzzle,the realization of the function realization of the flameproof mechanism and the speed and time of the self-destruction angle are calculated one by one.The strength of the three key positions of the improved fuze structure is checked.ANSYS software is used to analyze the fuze's large angle ignition performance,rain proof performance and airdrop risk.The influence of different firing angles and altitude on Fuze self-destruction is preliminarily discussed.Finally,the improved fuze is tested and analyzed according to the relevant national standards.At the same time,the short delay performance of different target fuze and the comparison test of high angle ignition performance of different angle fuze are carried out.The test results meet the requirements of the related standards and the intended target of the scheme.On the basis of the optimization and improvement of foreign fuze,this paper puts forward relevant methods and means for the safety design of fuze,and has a certain reference for the development and optimization of fuze in the future.
