A Mortar Shell Electronic Time Fuze Safety And Arming Device Design

Mortar with a curved trajectory,fast speed,simple structure,easy to maneuver,easy to operate and other characteristic,be suitable for a street battle and to do battle on a mountainous area,has been widely used in countries around the world.Match the ammunition being used for mortar having various such as shrapnel shell,illuminating projectile,dispenser ammunition and incendiary projectile etc,especially special ammunition to match a use electronic time fuse having also got broad development.In this paper,a mortar shrapnel projectile electronic time fuse for the task of developing is the background,need to designed a safe and arming device to meet the need of the fuse.This article reviewed the safe and arming device for mortar shell fuse at home and abroad to lift the development of the status; The article have analysed the design characteristic about the safety and arming device of mortar shell electronic time fuze:the conflict of arming reliability on launch environment and service safety,it is necessary to prevent the misuse of assemble,short-circuit switch of electric initiating explosive and fail safe feature;After analyzed the main technical requirements of the devices for fuze,the author designed a safe and arming device,simulated interrupter device and setback arming device.After manufactured prototype aeroplane,we have processed laboratory tests and test range.The main focus of this article studied safety redundancy,fail safe feature,to prevent the misuse of assemble,provide reference for similar device designed.
