Study On Commercial Buildings In Xinjiekou Area Of Nanjing During The Period Of The Republic Of China

With the development of economic globalization,new technology and new materials have been made new and new,the global consumption culture exchange is becoming more and more extensive,and the form of modern commercial building is more and more diverse,but the style of commercial building tends to be similar,and the unique characteristics of various countries and regions are missing,and the situation of"thousand business side"is more serious..At the same time,with the improvement of people's material and cultural life level,people begin to not satisfy the present situation of this lack of characteristic city commercial buildings,begin to pursue the spiritual style and taste,hope to seek and excavate the cultural connotation of the city itself,call for the continuation of the historical context of the city,and pursue the living home of the soul..Therefore,the concern and inheritance of the historical and cultural value of commercial buildings and the protection of historical commercial buildings are particularly important.The period of the Republic of China was a special period in the modern history of China.The influence of the architecture of the Republic of China on the foreign culture experienced several rounds of refusal,acceptance and preliminary assimilation.The biggest feature was the impact,adaptation and peaceful coexistence of the Chinese and Western cultures^[1].The architectural ideology that we call for nationalism and regionalism is very similar to the idea of revival of traditional architecture advocated by the Republic of China.The Xinjiekou area of Nanjing was one of the important business circles during the Republic of China,which focused on the most prosperous commercial buildings in Nanjing at that time.This article only grabs the angle of commercial architecture,trying to explore the commercial buildings in the period of the Republic of Nanjing during the period of the Republic of China and the period of the Republic of Taiping South Road in the commercial buildings of the Republic of Nanjing in the period of the Republic of China,as well as in the period of the Republic of Taiping South Road in the Republic of China,to explore the general characteristics of the commercial buildings during the period of the Republic of China,and to dig out the contemporary business.The cultural essence of the creation of industrial architecture.This paper uses the method of literature investigation and field investigation,and focuses on the investigation of commercial buildings in the Xinjiekou Central District of Nanjing and the Taiping South Road area within the scope of the Xinjiekou business circle.This paper makes a summing up study from the aspects of architectural style,elevation,detail modeling and spatial combination.By comparison and analysis,the characteristics of the overall architecture in different stages of the Republic of China,as well as the influence of foreign related architectural trends,architectural techniques,new materials and other factors are studied,and the reasons for the development of the commercial buildings in the period of the Republic of China are explored.From these factors,we further excavate the thinking bias of the commercial building creation at that time,and how the architects integrate these factors into their own architectural creation,and finally form the unique style and method of the commercial buildings in Nanjing Republic of China.This is of great significance for us to correctly treat inheritance and innovation in the way of modern Chinese commercial building,to get rid of and get out of the dilemma of"thousands of merchants",and to correctly face the protection and utilization of historical buildings.
