In recent years, fire accidents in archives have caused security threats and major losses to the archives. As a result, the issue of fire safety in archives has attracted the attention of scholars. The fire safety assessment of the archives can promptly detect hidden fire safety hazards in the archives and rectify them in time so as to reduce the probability of fire accidents.Because there are few literatures on fire protection safety assessment in archives both at home and abroad,it is urgent to build a fire safety assessment system and evaluation model for archives to provide theoretical support for the fire safety management of archives.Firstly, based on the analysis of the characteristics of archives and the risk factors of fire in archives, this article combines the relevant domestic and foreign literatures, combs, summarizes, and concises the potential safety hazards in the fire safety of archives, and on the basis of widely soliciting expert opinions.Initially develop the factors that affect the fire safety of the archives, and use the DEMATEL method to analyze the initial factors and screen out the key factors affecting the fire safety of the archives. These key factors were categorized, and a set of 33 second-level indicators such as archives building,fire-fighting facilities and equipment, fire safety management, personnel factors, fire rescue, fire hazard,6 first-level indicators, and fire-resistant rating were constructed. The archival fire safety assessment index system formed.Secondly,an archive fire safety assessment model based on G2 interval weighting is constructed, which effectively solves the prob lem of accurate assignment of weights. Finally, the actual fire safety status of an archive was evaluated. The assessment results were consistent with the actual situation of the comprehensive fire safety of the archives, and the potential safety hazards o f the archives were found.According to the actual situation of the archives, such as construction of archives, firefighting input, etc. And proposed countermeasures and suggestions for sex.The fire safety index system of archives constructed in this paper and the dual-semantic model of fire safety in archives based on G2 interval weighting have certain theoretical and practical significance for the fire safety management of archives.
