In recent years, the number of university enrollment in our country continued growth, having made great contributions to personnel training. At the same time, college resources are facing a serious of shortage. Parts of campus facilities can not be corresponding, most universities exist varying degrees of security risk, such as aging dormitory circuit, high power load, inadequate fire safety facilities and locking evacuation routes and exit for the facilitate management. The campus fires occurred frequently. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the fire safety for various types of campus buildings and identify the key of fire prevention and safety management, which can provide the basis for optimal allocation of fire facilities dynamic management and improve the fire safety management, safeguard life and property safety. The campus building fire risk evaluation index system is established in this paper, and a fuzzy multiple attribute group decision making evaluation ways is applied to conduct a fire risk assessment study for the four kinds of areas in college (student dormitory, science and technology laboratory building, administrative building and public areas).Building Exodus 4.0 is used to endeavor the study of the influence of different factors on the evacuation performance. The factors include the exit widths, the number of available exits, available staircases, the familiarity of the residents to the availability of the exits, staff density and Personnel reaction time. Through systematic analysis and integration, the comprehensive campus building fire risk evaluation index system is established. On this basis, utilize a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of multi-attribute group decision making method, established campus building fire risk evaluation model.Through taking a university as an example to conduct a case study and using former assessment system and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of multi-attribute group decision making, the author assessed the fire safety of four kinds of areas in this college and put forward suggestions for improvement of fire safety management. In addition, the author verified the effectiveness of the model, and provide a countermeasure for the fire safety management of campus building. Finally, the conclusions of this study are summarized.
