As an important part of the future intelligent transportation system,the Internet of Vehicle(IOV)can improve traffic efficiency and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents.At the same time,with the rapid development of Internet technology and 5G communication technology,IOV can provide entertainment and information as well as other services,which would greatly enriches and improves the user experience.However,the location of the vehicle in IOV is observable which makes the vehicle's privacy to be vulnerable.In recent years,with the continuous development of technology,the traditional privacy assessment system has not been able to measure the privacy protection mechanism's protection level.At the same time,traditional privacy protection mechanisms also face severe challenges.This article focuses on the privacy protection issues for IOV,conducts research and exploration on the design and evaluation of privacy protection mechanisms,as well as putting forward some new ideas.The main work includes the following aspects:(1)A more accurate assessment method based on vehicle tracking is designed for the most commonly used “Mix-Zone” scheme.By analyzing the deficiencies of the traditional vehicle tracking scheme and combining with many factors that affect the driving characteristics of the vehicle in the mixed zone,a vehicle travel time prediction model based on the artificial neural network is designed,and this model is applied to vehicle tracking to improve the tracking effect.(2)In-depth analysis of the relationship between the driving elements of the vehicle and the time the vehicle takes to pass through the mixing zone,we specifically adjusts and transforms the structure of the neural network.The customized neural network prediction model has achieved even better results in vehicle tracking.(3)We designed a new Mix-Zone model to improve location privacy,and a special vehicle tracking method is designed to assess its' effectiveness on privacy protection.The results show that the new model can reduce the tracking success rate of various tracking methods and improve the privacy protection level of the Mix-Zone.
