Metro has been greatly developed due to its features such as saving ground space, environmental protection, rapidity and safety.Nowadays, the metro is in a period of rapid development, urban rail transit networks are increasingly dense. The problem of environmental vibration caused by metro operation is becoming more and more serious, and environmental vibration has a serious impact on the residents and buildings along the metro.Therefor it is very necessary to study the vibration response of the superstructure caused by the subway operation. This paper takes the BoXue Building of South China University of Technology as the research object and combines the field measured to study the propagation of vibration caused by metro operation in the frame structure. This paper takes a shear wall residence as another research object, exploring the propagation of vibration caused by metro operation in the shear wall structure preliminarily. This paper mainly studies the following aspects:(1)The field measurement of the BoXue Building in South China University of Technology was carried out.Firstly, the measured data was analyzed to study the change rule of vibration acceleration.Secondly,Fourier transform was used to analyze the measured data in order to study the frequency distribution of vibration. Finally, the vibration level analysis was carried out to study the propagation law of the vibration level.(2)The finite element analysis software called ANSYS was been used to build the BoXue Building of South China University of Technology three-dimensional finite element model, the shear stiffness of the beam was considered and the seven control frequency damping matrix was used during the modeling process, the finite element analysis used the measured vibration wave as vibration excitation. The vibration response value of the model was compared with that of measured data in order to verify the reliability of the finite element model, then the propagation law of vibration in the frame structure was studied.(3)15 finite element models of frame structure were designed for parametric analysis. The influence of column cross-section,beam width, beam height, plate thickness, storey height and storey number on the propagation of vibration in frame structure were studied, and suggestions for reducing the vibration response of frame structure were provided.(4)Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS to build a shear wall residence model, the modeling method of shear wall model was consistent with that of the BoXue Building model of South China University of Technology. The measured vibration wave was used as vibration excitation to carry out the time history analysis, and the propagation law of vibration in shear wall structure was studied.(5)15 finite element models of shear wall structure were designed, and the parameter analysis was carried out by using the finite element analysis software ANSYS and SAP2000.The influence of wall thickness, beam width, beam height, plate thickness, storey height, storey number and shear wall number on the propagation of vibration in frame structure was studied and suggestions for reducing the vibration response of shear wall structure were provided. Finally, the differences in the propagation law of vibration in the frame structure and the shear wall structure were compared and discussed.
