Over the past two decades, the rural economy has continued to increase with the rapid development of the national economy. The electricity consumption of residents and small-scale industry, commerce and agriculture have also been increasing. However, the current development of automation in rural distribution networks is still difficult to catch up with the development of economic. Most rural areas are still facing issues such as incomplete network data and lack of various types of electricity data in the transformer station area.At the same time, the problems arising from the lack of planning for the construction of early rural power grids and the lack of management of operations and maintenance have also become increasingly prominent. In most areas, there are a series of problems, such as the roundabout power supply of feeders, the unbalanced three-phase of the transformer station areas, and the unreasonable line diameters. These problems cause damages such as lots of rural line losses and low terminal voltages, which seriously restrict the further development of the rural economy and affect the production and life of the rural residents.Aiming at the problem that the network data of rural network stations is not complete,a low-voltage distribution network modeling system is designed in this paper. The system uses real-time kinematic satellite positioning system to obtain the geographic location of the nodes in the transformer station area, and to assist the collection of nodes and line information in the transformer station area, finally to establish the district model.Aiming at the problem of the lack of various types of electricity data in rural power grids and the difficulty in calculating the theoretical line loss of the transformer station area, this paper combines the user power consumption data of the bimonthly meter readings that are easily available with the typical daily load data of various types of loads. The three-phase unbalanced load flow calculation is completed on the ETAP software with an average power of 24 hours, and the line loss value of the transformer station area is obtained.Aiming at the problem of the large line loss rate of the rural power grids, this paper proposes a series of targeted strategies for reducing losses and optimization in rural low-voltage distribution networks, including three aspects of research.First rectify the routes of the roundabout power supply nodes according to the power supply radius of the nodes in the transformer station area.Second adjust the load phase types according to the distribution of the users' active power and the genetic algorithm.Third select the appropriate overhead line diameter according to the economic load area in the load-cost curve.According to the rural low-voltage distribution network loss reduction optimization reform strategy in this article,we can reduce the three-phase unbalanced degree in the transformer station area, reduce the line loss rate in the transformer station area and increase the terminal voltage effectively. Finally provide a scientific and economical transformation plan for reducing the rural network loss.
