Line loss rate is not only an important technical and economic index for power supply company,but also an important index for power supply comany to operate.The level of line loss rate not only directly affects the economic benefits of power supply company,but also reflects the overall management level of power supply company to a large extent.During the whole process of electric energy from production to user's use,the components of each link will have certain characteristics such as resistance and reactance in physics.When current passes through these components,electric energy loss will be generated.This is a natural physical phenomenon,and it will inevitably caus e loss of active and reactive electric energy in the process of electric power transmission.According to their nature,these losses are called technical line losses,also called theoretical line losses,and they are calculable losses generated in the proc ess of power generation to electricity utilization.However,in the operation of the power grid,the statistical line loss is often not equal to the technical line loss,and there are management reasons such as production loss,etc.With the advancement of power system reform,it is particularly important for power supply company to promote energy conservation and emission reduction in order to improve their economic benefits,especially for county-level power supply company.Due to the large coverage of power supply,county-level power supply company need to continuously strengthen energy conservation and loss reduction to reduce losses and improve economic benefits due to the improvement of infrastructure level and service quality based on the general environment in recent years,as well as investment extension and optimization of business environment.However,due to problems left over from history,some county-level power supply companies have a short board in their initial power grid investment,resulting in poor grid foundation,thin wire diameter and lax management in energy conservation and loss reduction in some county-level power grids.Therefore,there is a large space for loss reduction in both management and technology.Under this background,on the basis of analyzing the current situation of Xinyi power grid line loss,this paper discusses the existing problems in Xinyi power grid line loss,focusing on the analysis and research of the influence of small hydropower on Xinyi power distribution network.The theoretical line loss calculation is carried out by selecting the representative 10 kV upper cable in Xinyi power grid,which is obviously affected by small hydropower.By selecting actual operation data including operation current of representative day,transformer nameplate parameters,line parameters,etc.,the power loss and voltage loss of representative day are analyzed one by one,as well as the calculation of power loss and voltage loss in different small hydropower operation conditions such as no power generation,local balance of power generation,adjustment of power distribution through technical transformation,improvement of power factor,etc.According to the conclusion of calculation and analysis,an effective loss reduction strategy is put forward,which provides technical support for loss reduction in Xinyi power grid and has better economic benefits.
