The interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)is a kind of motor that the permanent magnet establishes the air gap magnetic field that is necessary for electromechanical energy conversion in a motor.Because of the permanent magnetic material has been magnetized before being made into a permanent magnet and it would not easily demagnetized,so it can be directly used to provide the motor with a magnetic field required for operation.This application can simplify the structure of the motor and save energy.In the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor,permanent magnet is located inside the rotor core,the magnetic circuit is asymmetric,the inductance of the d-axis and q-axis is different,the larger reluctance torque is produced,the capacity of output torque is improved,the multiple of overload is increased,the output efficiency is also greatly improved,the motor runs in a wider range of speed.A simulation and an optimize for the two interior permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed by the software Ansoft that is an electromagnetic field numerical calculation tool by method of finite element in this paper which is based on the structural characteristics and the basic theory of operation of permanent magnet synchronous motors.For the optimized motor model,the simulations of no-load,rated-load,and over-load are performed to obtain the performance curves of the two motors and the performance curves under the rated load.From this,it can be seen that the permanent magnet synchronous motor is studied in this paper,and the requirements of IE5 torque,efficiency,etc are satisfied.The performance parameters of the two optimized structures are compared and the advantages and disadvantages of the two structures are described.These are compared by simulation that an interior U-shaped permanent magnet synchronous motor with a non-uniform air gap structure in the rotor profile and an interior U-shaped permanent magnet synchronous motor with a conventional standard circular shape.It is verified that the permanent magnet synchronous motor with non-uniform air gap structure improves the sinusoidal nature of the air gap flux density,reduces the harmonic loss,and reduces the advantages of the motor vibration and noise caused by the torque ripple.Finally,on the basis of the previous theoretical research and simulation verification,a prototype testing platform is built to complete the no-load,rated load,and overload tests of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor which has been made,so the experimental verified the correctness and effectiveness of the theoretical.
