IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) has the same superior characteristics as Surface Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SPMSM), such as high power density, high efficiency and high acceleration, especially Flux-Weakening capabilities possessed uniquely by IPMSM. So IPMSM is applicable for the high-performance speed control system. In this paper, the finite element model of 7.5kW IPMSM built with Ansoft software is presented, meanwhile obtaining its magnetic field distribution and inductance parameters through finite element analysis. Then, the simulation model of Id=0 and MTPA (Maximum Torque Per Ampere) control scheme based on SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse-Width Modulation) are presented and simulated by using Matlab/Simlink. Last, the system software using TMS320F2812 is achieved, and the experiment has been implemented on the experiment platform. The result of the experiment shows the stability and validity of the system.
