| At present,with the rapid development of our country on the economy and the comprehensive national strength consistently,people pay more attention to the railway transportation and the development of rolling stock.An important component of the locomotive,also is one of the important protection device of diesel engine,diesel engine air filter system,plays an important role to diesel engine’s power performance and reliability.Ensure diesel engine has enough fresh filling amount in order to have a good working condition and higher power in the process of using diesel engine,so the rationality of the ventilation air filter system has become the top priority in the design.With the rapid development of computer technology and CFD technology progress constantly,CFD technology has become the most widespread method on analysis and design of locomotive diesel engine air filter system.This method not only save time and effort,but also can simulate real condition of special size and high temperature,which make up for the deficiency of the traditional design.In this paper,take four kinds of typical locomotive diesel engine air filter system as the research object(four kinds of air filter system,the length of the outlet tube and supercharger inlet area of the same).Firstly,using Cero software to analyze the structure of the solid model,understand the structure of the system and the role of each component,and make a preliminary understanding of the simulation model.Then,building three-dimensional CFD calculation model of air filtration system in ANSYS FLUENT software,internal flow field is calculated using SIMPLE algorithm and standard k-ε two-equation turbulence model,the same boundary conditions were applied to the four typical air filter systems to calculate the pressure drop at the inlet of the supercharger.The internal gas flow characteristics and the distribution of velocity and pressure of locomotive diesel engine air filter system is obtained,According to this analysis,respectively for the outlet tube of four kinds of typical air filter system and outlet tube connected to the filter box location optimization,get the optimization plan.And then to verify using CFD simulation,eventually obtains a rational model both flow field and pressure loss of every air filtration system.After that,compared the four typical of the optimized air filter system performance. |
