Porous asphalt mixture is a kind of large-pore pavement material,which has the advantages of rapid draining of road surface water,reduced noise,and high friction,but also has the problems of poor durability,poor anti-scuffing ability,which also hinders the popularization of mixing of porous asphalt in our country.At present,our country lacks of porous asphalt mixture evaluation method,so it is necessary to study the evaluation method of the anti-scuffing ability of the porous asphalt mixture.With reference to the domestic and international porous asphalt mixture design method,the composition ratio of OGFC-13 was determined,and the target voidage with a voidage of about 18% was determined.Refer to the existing domestic OGFC-13 gradation trend,a 2.36 mm sieve pass rate was used as the index to determine the target gradation,the Shrimpburg leak test was used to determine the optimum amount of bitumen,and the n the performance evaluation of the mix was tested.Based on the temperature-controlled accelerometer,the mass loss and scuffing area ratio of the mixture were used as evaluation indicators.The effects of different tire pressures,different temperatures,and different pretreatment methods on the scuffing of the mixture were studied and analyzed by the F-test.The effect of tire pressure and temperature on the scuffing of porous asphalt mixture is significant.The test conditions with moderately scuffing conditions were selected as the standard test conditions.The variability and repeatability of the standard test conditions were analyzed.The mass loss and the image processing method were analyzed.The validity of the image processing method was proved..Based on the standard test conditions,a sensitivity analysis was performed o n the evaluation methods.Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of different types of asphalt,different amounts of bitumen and different types of aggregates on the scuffing of porous asphalt mixtures,and the evaluation methods were proved to have satisfying sensitivity.The correlation between the loss of Contabro and the scuffing loss of the mixture was studied.The deficiency of the Contabro test in evaluating the scuffing loss of the porous asphalt mixture was analyzed.The dependence of the pull-out test of the asphalt,the acidity and basicity of the aggregate,and the anti-stripping ability of the mixture was studied,and a method of selecting the aggregate and asphal t in order to improve the anti-scuffing property was proposed.
