Research On Porous Asphalt Pavement

Porous asphalt pavement has many advantages such as:skid resisting and noise attenuation ,etc.Development and employment of porous asphalt pavement were introduced in this paper. With the increase of repeated transporting loading, the superfacial layer of highway will gradually lose its function. The porous drainage-functional bituminous mixture can be used in the maintenance of the superfacial layer of highway. Simutineously, it can also be used in the construction of the superficial layer of newly built high-class highway, the properties of SBS modified bitumen and the use of SBS modified bitumen in the porous drainage-functional bituminous mixture were introduced in this paper, and the design method and the experimental result of porous asphalt mixture are illustrated .Finally, the construction technic,maintenance and employment condition of porous asphalt pavement are studied in this paper.
