With the advent of the information age,the consumption mode and consumption concept of consumers have changed.People’s reading mode has also changed with the development of the Internet.The online bookstore is growing vigorously,and the physical bookstore is facing a huge development crisis.From the point of view of consumption structure,people buy goods not only to meet the needs of material life,but to pursue spiritual added value of objects,and seek spiritual resonance.With the increasing demand for emotion,emotional design has become a new design concept that people have paid much attention to.This article,taking the entity bookstore as the research object,tries to interpret the great role of emotional design in the space of the entity bookstore.Based on the overview of the bookstore development and the type of structure,space character and entity bookstore design trend research,combined with the domestic and foreign outstanding book design case,for consumers to read and summarize the characteristics of psychological and behavioral patterns that: whether it is from the current entity bookstore space environment design research or from the people’s emotional needs,emotional design system design and development of the physical bookstore has a strong theoretical support.In order to make the entity bookstore in the online bookstore and the competition to find their own position and advantage,the article summarizes the expression of emotional design in the physical bookstore in the space environment,the first is the color,texture,shape,light and other factors to create visual freshness and to arouse consumers’ emotional experience,followed by emotional symbols to build a comfortable artistic and dynamic,the reading pleasure,finally through the construction of space plot means to create a physical Bookstore space scene and cultural belonging,follow the principle of "people-oriented" and enable readers to return to nature,to create the atmosphere of space entity bookstore improved,create a humanistic temperament and cultural atmosphere of the entity bookstore space environment,so that consumers in the purchase or reading,have comfort,pleasure,satisfaction and self The expansion of my value realizes the sense of identity and the sense of belonging of the consumer to the entity bookstore.Finally through the project practice to demonstrate and strengthen the theoretical system of "emotional" design by the maximum value in the modern bookstores in the space design,this process has greatly enriched the theory of entity bookstore emotional design space,and expand the diversification space design entity bookstore form,add a research perspective is not the same.The entity bookstore more in line with consumer lifestyle under the background of informationization,promote the development of the entity bookstore space design in the fields of indoor design.
