With the development of power source construction and power grid interconnection,the operating characteristic of power system has become more and more complicated,which makes higher requirements to the coordination between power source and power grid.Excitation system of generator units is the important equipment which influences the safe and stable operation of power system.It is necessary to make a reasonable and effective evaluation for the regulation performance of excitation system of grid-connected generator units,which can provide some basis for the power dispatch department to monitor the actual regulation performance of excitation system and strengthen the power grid and source coordination management in the environment of large power system operation.This thesis focuses on excitation system regulation performance evaluation considering power grid and source coordination.The main work includes:(1)The limitation of traditional excitation system regulation performance evaluation indexes is analyzed,and then based on the function of excitation system,according to the regulation principle and regulation characteristic of excitation system and the requirements of power grid and source coordination to it,an evaluation index system of excitation system regulation performance considering power grid and source coordination is constructed,which is made up of 3 aspects: dynamic performance,static performance and long-term performance.The meaning and calculation method of each index are analyzed in detail.(2)For the WAMS data types needed to calculate the evaluation indexes of excitation system regulation performance and the problems of these types of data,a complete method of WAMS data processing and indexes calculation is presented,and a combination of simulation examples and practical data examples proves the effectiveness of the method.The de-noising method of WAMS data is studied emphatically.For the characteristics of excitation system disturbance data,the translation-invariant wavelet threshold de-noising method is used,which has good performances both in the overall effect and local details.(3)For different evaluation occasions and requirements,a comprehensive scoring method based on linear weighting comprehensive method and a comprehensive classification method based on matter element analysis for excitation system regulation performance are given separately.These two comprehensive evaluation methods can provide reliable references of excitation system regulation performance for power dispatchers from different perspectives.Through the analysis of a simulation example and a practical example,the reasonability and effectiveness of the presented comprehensive evaluation methods are proved.
