Electric load modeling is an important basic research problem in power system analysis. Component-based approach and Measurement-based approach are two most basic and important methods of load modeling. Measurement-based approach require large amounts of measured data.However,in the real world,it need to install data recording device in each load nodes in the grid for data collection arid transmit them by different communication technologies.Therefore,this approach required a more complex measurement,the cost is too expensive. The Phasor Measurement Unit(PMU) in Wide Area Measurement System(WAMS) using high-precision GPS timing signal, can acquire the synchronous dynamic data of various nodes in the power system, provide a rich data soure for power system's online applications field such as analysis,research of control functions.Focusing on the characteristics of PMU data, a method of PMU data processing and its application in Measuremen-based load modeling is proposed in this article,and expand in-depth study around this topic.Firstly,according to the fact that the current monitoring data can't meet the needs of real-time load modeling,this paper brings forward a concept of make use of PMU's simultaneous data into measurement based load modeling.Secondly,this paper introduce the development and application of WAMS in detail,analyze the necessity of using PMU data into load modeling.Thirdly,the current frequency of PMU data is 25Hz/s,which can not meet the needs of load modeling,so the author designs and develops a set of PMU data processing platform,to conveniently manage and maintain PMU database, In the process of realization, upper platforms are finished by VC++.Net which is object oriented industrial grade compiling software was used to compile static webpage. Specifically, frame mode based on DLL,database operation based on ADO of VC++.Net technologies are applied in the system. Meanwhile Access and SQL Server are used to construct bottom data information base. Load modeling based on measurement will become practical, maneuverable and networking under this system, theory and its measures faced to engineering are realized efficiently to supply favorable synthesis load model for Digital Simulation of power system.On this basis,lastly,this paper use PMU data in the dynamic model parameter identification, by comparison with the actual response analysis, to validate the influence of data inserting to parameter identification.Currently, the part of WAMS/PMU data processing have been realized based on VC++.NET, partial SQL Server database. Through experimental running debugging, it comes out that they perform stably and are practical. Works of this paper built an advanced supporting system for technologies of load modeling based on measurement. The paper make use of processed PMU data into load modeling based on measurement, To contrast with the actual system response, verified the data processing method of PMU proposed by the author satisfy the requirements of load model parameter identification, provides a simple and feasible means of data processing for the parameter identification in Measurement-based load modeling.
