In the field of nuclear radiation detection technology,it is of great practical significance to study the simulation of nuclear pulse signal generating device.Direct use of radioactive sources to obtain nuclear pulse signal will produce radioactive hazards,damage the health of scientific research personnel,and in order to test the performance of nuclear radiation detection equipment,different parameters of the nuclear signal is needed,then simulate the real nuclear signal is particularly necessary.Researchers have done a lot of research work to meet a lot of test requirements,on this basis,a kind of multi-functional,high flexibility is proposed for the development of nuclear pulse signal generator in this article.In this article,the statistical characteristics and shape characteristics of the nuclear pulse signal are analyzed in detail,and the pulse shaping scheme of the simulated nuclear pulse is discussed.On this basis,a imitation method is proposed combined with the upper computer software and the hardware circuit.The digital simulation of the nuclear pulse signal is realized by using the Matlab script file.The LabVIEW software is responsible for the function control of the whole system.The logic control of the analog pulse output is completed by the digital platform of DSP,FPGA and SRAM.The DAC and signal conditioning circuit finally realizes the actual output of the simulated nuclear pulse signal.Comprehensive test results show that the count rate can reach 1M,the pulse rise time,the duty cycle can be adjusted,and multiple pulse accumulation is realized with parameters adjustable in the periodic output mode.In random output mode,the average count rate can reach 100 k,the pulse time characteristic is random,the amplitude energy spectrum obeys the Gaussian distribution and even the arbitrary distribution,pulse accumulation and other functions is optional,and the actual signal output has mV Level accuracy.
