Container transport organization has been always the focus of researches in the field of freight transport.In recent years,with strengthen of inter-regional division and cooperation,the rapid economic development of the middle and west regions of China and economic exchanges and complementary effects with east region continued to improve,the freight scale expands unceasingly,thereby the price demand of domestic container transport in the middle and upper reaches of Yangtze River are growing robustly,especially at Sichuan,Chongqing and Wuhan.At present,container has become the fastest growing mode among Yangtze waterway.At the same time,the government is vigorously promote transportation structure adjustment,to build a modern comprehensive transportation system,encourage the ports and shipping enterprises to deepen cooperation with highway transport,railway transport and air transport enterprises and promote the development of multimodal transport and logistics,to better serve the progress of joint coordination of the east,middle and west regions of China.Based on this background,this paper through use the knowledge of complex networks and from the perspective of the overall transportation network to study the optimization of container transport organization of Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu which represent the east,middle and west regions.It has important theoretical and practical significance.The main research and conclusions as follows:Firstly,the paper introduced the complex network theory.The complexities of the container transport network,which contain node complexity,transport routes(side)complexity,transport decisions(mode select)complexity,operating organization(combinations of ways)complexity and transportation environment(network evolution)complexity is analyzed.The status of the container transport of sea transport network,railway transport network,highway transport network of the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu Transportation Corridor were introduced,analyzing the container transport organizational problems of Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu.Secondly,from the perspective of complex networks,use the scale-free network characteristics of small-world networks,generate the container transportation organization network.The generation of container transport network took into account both the preferred formation mechanism of complex network and combination of path and freight.According to actual condition,built the container transport network of Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu,and analyze the network indicators.For the abstract network,in order to minimize the generalized cost of the whole transport routes,built the organization optimization model,and then discussed the transport organization of network.Finally,the Dijkstra algorithm was selected as the appropriate way to solve the problem,and proposed the improved algorithm for the expanded network which contains converting the mode of transport.According to the actual situation,calibrated the model parameters,and then used Matlab software to get the optimization results.As to the typical route Chongqing-Shanghai,Chengdu–Shanghai,analyzed the optimization results and showed the optimization results between every two nodes of transport network,and provided a reference to policy makers.
