RAMS is widely adopted in the international railway industry reliability assessment and standard system.The implementation of the RAMS can effectively improve the reliability of the railway products.In order to keep up with international standards and improve the reliability of the railway products,we must make further research on RAMS system.In combination with the situation of the enterprise and the resources conditions,RAMS technology and application of rheostatic brake system were studied aiming at solving the problems in implementing conditions in enterprise RAMS standards.The specific research contents include the following respects:(1)Based on the research of the RAMS of international standards and combined with the implementation of enterprise RAMS,the reliability evaluation method and the maintainability evaluation method are proposed.In addition to the general defines indicators,some custom defines indicators are proposed,that is the maintenance delay degree to evaluate delay time in the system maintenance and the risk index to assess the system risks.(2)According to the data records of braking system components,the reliability and maintainability evaluation strategy is proposed and qualitative and quantitative analysis is launched according to the characteristics of different components.By analysising the function of the complex components in qualitative,the black box function model analysis method is put forward.(3)The modeling methods of the rheostatic brake system and parameter estimation methods are researched aiming at solving the modeling problems in multiple failure modes.The modeling method in multiple failure modes based on the fault tree and the parameter estimation method based on the least squares method and genetic algorithm are proposed.Then reliability was analyzed and lifetime is predicted by using the model of system and parts models.The results indicate that the reliability model considering the multiple failure modes can visually reveal reliability trends affected by failure modes,which favors product maintenance and life expectancy and provides a basis for developing effective measures to improve reliability.(4)The method of the system mean time to repair is put forward according to that the maintenance process and maintenance time is different under different failure modes.In the meantime,According to different costs of failure mode,the failure mode of the maintenance cost model is established and the maintenance plan is made by analyzing the model.(5)According to the demand of the rheostatic braking system reliability and maintainability evaluation,the reliability and maintainability analysis software is designed.The software architecture,main process and the role in software operation were developed in this article and the main modules are introduced by taking the brake system components as examples.
