Study On Development Strategy Of Wuhan Automobile Industry Under The Condition Of FTZ

Since 2013 in China,free trade zones appear constantly in Shanghai,Guangdong,Tianjin and Fujian.That the establishment of free trade zone is a key step for China to deepen reformation and enlarge opening-up,which has great influence on not only economic development,but also other impacts in China.As a pillar industry in China,the development of auto industry is closely related with the process of Chinese reformation and opening-up.so the establishment and promotion of free trade zone will definitely have deep impact on Chinese auto industry.As a main part of Chinese auto industry,Wuhan auto industry affects Chinese auto industry to a great extent,furthermore,Wuhan is applying for free trade zone,thus linking auto industry and free trade zone more closely.So it is very meaningful to study and propose auto industry development strategy in Wuhan,which is based on free trade zone surrounding.The final research object of this thesis is to propose a development strategy for Wuhan auto industry based on free trade zone surrounding.Firslyt,this thesis summarizes and studies the achievement of current free trade zone,and based on this topic,this thesis comes up with some basic contents of free trade zone,such as the definition,strategy position,the meaning,reformation measure and effect,and the relationship with auto industry of free trade zone.Aimed at efficiency of auto industry,this thesis studies how free trade zone works on it.Secondly,this thesis do an empirical analysis on efficiency and affect factors of auto industry by using DEA-Tobit model,then gets results of the efficiency of auto industry from 2004 to 2013,and that the main affect factors on this efficiency are management level,R&D investment level and human resource quality.Thirdly,combining qualitative and quantitative analysis,this thesis studies how free trade zone works on efficiency of auto industry by constructing causal relationship chart and system dynamics flow chart,which is based on system dynamics.Study result shows that free trade zone have positive impact on efficiency of auto industry,and get conclusions about the working direction and intensity of this impact to efficiency affect factors.Finally,this thesis analyzes development status of Wuhan auto industry,and based on impact principle of free trade zone on auto industry,this thesis proposes development strategy and detail measures to promote scale size and export volume of auto industry.This thesis applies DEA-Tobit model and system dynamics theory to makeempirical analysis,then find the affect factors to efficiency of auto industry and mode of action that free trade zone works on auto industry.And according to this mode of action,considering Wuhan auto industry development status,this thesis proposes strategy for Wuhan auto industry under free trade zone condition.The research achievement of this thesis is that it provides research method for reference to study the relationship between free trade zone and industry,and offers ideas for other cities in auto industry development.
