With the implementation of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative,Sino-German cooperation has become increasingly close.Germany's achievements in manufacturing have attracted worldwide attention,especially in the automotive industry.As a big manufacturing country,China's cooperation with Germany in automobile products will be a win-win situation.At present,the technical level of China's automotive products has increased significantly,which showed great potential for technological growth.However,the number of self-owned automobile brands in China is still insufficient.The Sino-German auto trade still presents an unfavorable situation that the volume of auto product trade imported from Germany by China is much larger than that from China's export to Germany.In recent years,the Sino-German trade structure is showing a new normal in the new era: China's production costs are rising,and the European market's demand for Chinese goods is nearly saturated.Based on this,in order to promote the development of Sino-German automobile trade,the article has conducted a study from the following aspects:First of all,this article starts from the "Belt and Road" background,introduces the current status of Sino-German trade,related backgrounds,relevant theories of intra-industry trade and types of intra-industry trade.Secondly,this article compares and analyzes the intra-industry trade of auto products between China and Germany before and after the "One Belt and One Road ",elaborates on the import and export of Chinese auto products,and summarizes the new changes in the Sino-German automotive products intra-industry trade under the "One Belt and One Road" initiative.The opportunities and challenges faced by the Sino-German automotive products trade under the "One Belt and One Road" initiative are analyzed.Then,this article calculates and analyzes the intra-industry trade indices of major auto products in China and Germany before and after the "Belt and Road" initiative,and makes an empirical analysis of the influencing factors of intra-industry trade of Sino-German automobile products under the background of "Belt and Road ".Among them,foreign direct investment,R&D investment,outward foreign direct investment,Chinese per capita income,per capita income level difference,factor endowment,market size difference,trade imbalance degree,education level,product differentiation degree,10 factors in all are the influential factors to be tested,and the selected indicators are compared with the Intra-industry Trade Index of China and Germany,the volume of auto products exported by China to Germany,the trade volume of automobile products imported by China from Germany.They are analyzed by grey correlation analysis before and after "Belt and Road",and the correlation types of each influencing factor to each dependent variable are judged,and then the grey correlation degree is compared.Highlight the change of impact of Sino-German auto trade factors under the "Belt and Road" initiative.Finally,based on the above research background and analysis results,this paper proposes relevant measures to promote the development of intra-industry trade of auto products between China and Germany at various aspects,including specific proposals at the national,corporate,and industry aspects.
