Energy and environmental problems greatly accelerated the development of wind power.Small wind power serves as an effective supplement to large wind power,at the same time,it can be allocated near the users,which has the advantages of investment province,wide application of climate conditions and suitable installation area,resulting in a very good opportunity for development.Compared with the existing small wind turbines,the switched reluctance generator has a good many of merits,like as small volume,light weight,wide working speed range,good fault tolerance,high reliability and high performance at high temperature and high speed.However,at present,the power density and efficiency of switched reluctance generator are lower than that of permanent magnet synchronous generator,which limits its popularization and application.In order to improve the power density and power efficiency of the switched reluctance generator system,this paper researches the optimization control of the parameters,so as to improve the power generation performance of the system and enhance the market competitiveness of the switched reluctance generator.Firstly,the research background and the development of switched reluctance motor are introduced.Compared with traditional motors system,the inherent advantages of switched reluctance motor system are summarized,and research results from flux linkage modeling,power converter topology,parameter optimization,performance improvement are introduced in detail.Secondly,based on the flux linkage-current curves of switched reluctance motor and the energy conservation,an electromagnetic power estimation method is presented,which provides quantitative evidence for subsequent efficiency online optimization.In addition,the impact of switch angle on system efficiency is analyzed so that some important conclusions are obtained,which lays a theoretical foundation for the design of switch angle optimization method.Thirdly,two efficiency optimization methods are proposed: the hybrid search method and the on-line control of switch angle.The hybrid search method is divided into two stages: the initial value of turn-on angle is calculated with fitting formula and the search interval is constructed in the first stage.Then turn-on angle prediction method or golden section method is used to adjust turn-on angle so that system achieves optimal performance in the second stage.In the on-line control of switch angle,the eigenvalue derived from mathematical model and electromagnetic characteristics of switched reluctance generator and PI closed-loop is used to make sure that system parameters are close to eigenvalues.Fourthly,the simulation models of switched reluctance generator system,hybrid search method,and on-line control of switch angle are built.Then the corresponding simulations are carried out.Through the analysis of the simulation results,the feasibility of hybrid search method and online control of switch angle is verified.Finally,the prototype platform of switched reluctance generator system is designed,including hardware design and software design.Each part of the detailed design steps and program flow chart are given.Then the corresponding experiments are carried out,which not only verifies that system hardware design and software program design are correct and reliable,but also further verifies the accuracy and validity of the hybrid search method and on-line control of switch angle.
