The Study Of The Design Of Public Facilities Based On The Regional Cultural Identity In Shanghai Historical And Cultural Areas

City public facilities demonstrate a city external style and they are the link of city cultural communication.Design of public facilities should be consistent with the city style,embody the city culture,history,art and life.However,most of the construction of public facilities in China is still at the functional improvement stage.In the process of urban construction and development,the modernization of the city is paid great attention.The importance of public facilities as street furniture is ignored.Most of the public facilities failed to show regional culture from the point of design.Therefore,it is important to interpret the city regional culture,refine and apply regional culture elements reasonably into the design of public facilities.Showing the city culture through public facilities can't be ignored in urban construction and regional cultural protection.As one of the largest cities in China,Shanghai is a typical representative of the eastern coastal cities,and also represents the international image of China.Shanghai regional culture is the combination of the traditional Jiangnan culture and Western culture,which has rich connotation and unique regional characteristics.In recent years,Shanghai has designated more than 200 historical and cultural protection units in the construction of famous historic city.Based on the characteristics of Shanghai culture,the study on the history and culture of Shanghai helps to analyze and design the public facilities from the point of view of regional cultural identity.Firstly,on the basis of theory,this study defines the concept of public facilities,geographical and cultural identity,historical and cultural area,then sum up the category and the function of public facilities and expounds the inherent relations among them.The second part mainly studies the effect and influence of Shanghai culture on people and product design.Based on the related articles and user research,the overall impression of Shanghai culture is built.Through the semantic evaluation scale and the Shanghai culture identity scale,this paper analyzes the design of the psychological projection of Shanghai cultural identity,and studiesthe design style of Shanghai culture to obtain the cultural elements as Shanghai culture design elements.The third part analyzes the relationship between product design and regional culture by the factor analysis method.This part involves research methods of different disciplines such as product design,color geography,ergonomics,and then clarifies the design principles of public facilities.The fourth part is the part of design practice.According to the different features of the district function and demands for facilities,the Yuyuan Road Historical district is determined to be the design practice place.Through the method of core image chart,the paper determines the cultural symbols used in design practice and simplifies them.Taking color geography as the practice basis,the regional chromatography of scenery area is summarized,and the color scheme of public facilities is analyzed according to the theory of color harmony and the main materials of the public facilities are determined.The relevant sizes of public facilities are calculated by using human body size data.Finally,the design scheme of facilities is obtained through design software.This paper enriches the theoretical research of public facilities,provides some ideas and practical methods for the design of public facilities based on the identification of regional culture,and gets the unique regional cultural elements of the city,which provides reference for the related design of Shanghai culture.
