Ancestral culture is extensive and has a long history. Its culture runs through purity, vicissitudes and revival. As the quintessence and root culture of the nation,it has always cultivated the spiritual temperament of the Chinese people and settled the spiritual homeland of the common people. It also maps and benefits each other at the spiritual and material levels. In the process of continuous enrichment and development, ancestral culture has gradually become an important force influencing rural social system and cultural concepts, which not only maintains the stability of the regional social order, but also has a wide and far-reaching impact on the traditional rural social spatial form.Through field investigation, this paper starts from the appearance of "relics" in today’s rural public space, with the help of literature, this paper, based on the current social situation of the construction of rural public space, this paper sorts out the more profound social roots behind the construction of today’s rural public space, through understanding how the clan and ancestral culture influence and play a role in the construction of traditional rural public space in history, proposes that in the villages which are deeply influenced by the clan culture or where the inheritance of the ancestral culture is more perfect, the ancestral culture,as an endogenous consensus cultural force, has a profound influence on the current construction of rural public space, and plays an important role in cultural identity mechanism. It reasonably uses the unique cultural identity mechanism, better injects the positive function of the ancestral hall culture into the practice of contemporary rural public space construction, learn from the past and know the present and look forward to the future,so as to apply it to the construction of today’s "beautiful countryside".
