With the continuous development of China's automobile industry,the scale of automobile production is increasing,and the competition among the industries is becoming more intense,the traditional coating production line which can only produce a single model can no longer meet the production requirements.Each automobile factory in order to shorten the production cycle,to improve the coating quality and production efficiency,and to reduce the production cost,all began to improve and upgrade the traditional production line.A certain car factory as the research object was taken in this paper,after this transformation,the factorry will adopt the method of mixed color and mixed flow of various models,in which the single production line of painting workshop can carry out the production of various models,the automatic spraying of different vehicle models and colors by spraying robot,and the running status of each process of coating line can be viewed through the monitor interface of upper computer.The key technologies in this flexible production method was studied,and the corresponding coating equipment,control system,monitoring software,were developed,in order to improve the flexible production capacity of coating line and realize the monitoring and control of each process of coating line.Firstly,this paper introduced the definition of flexibility of coating line and typical flexible equipment in each process,designed a multitype collinear skid,which can support the production of more than ten models,and is low cost,and can be easy to install or use.Then the automatic vehicle body recognition and tracking system was analyzed,and the AVI system and the RFID system were designed,the network structure,working principle and data flow of the AVI system in the paint shop,and the structure of RFID system,the distribution of the site locations,and the process of collecting vehicle body information were described in detail.Secondly,the design of the spraying robot's flexible spraying system was introduced,the key points in the design process were described in detail,the main points included the selection of spraying robots,the selection of high pressureelectrostatic spraying cup devices,configuration of robot numbers in spraying station,and the synchronization tracking system program of the conveyor chain,off-line track planning,vehicle model matching and color change cleaning process.Finally,the monitoring system of coating line was designed,the Factory Talk View configuration software was used to design the process monitoring interface of the conveyor line,the upper computer monitoring program and design of Fuzzy PID controller were programmed using LABVIEW software,and then the upper computer was connected to the mobile phone APP,in order to realize the monitoring and control of the operating state of each working procedure and the temperature in the oven.
