The backhoe loaders have a variety of working environments and require high heat dissipation.The engine,the traveling system and the work system all require a rated temperature to perform various operations safely and efficiently.Excessively high or low temperature can bring great harm to each department,reduce the working efficiency of the backhoe loader and reduce the service life.In this paper,there was a problem of excessive temperature for the heatsink group of the backhoe loader heat dissipation system,and the focus was on the heat dissipation system.In the research process,the power system was mainly matched to increase the accuracy of power matching.The CFX software platform was used to optimize the radiating cabin and improve the cooling effect of the heat dissipation system.The main research content is as follows:(1)The heat sources of the backhoe loader were studied.The causes of heat generation in the engine system,transmission system and hydraulic system were analyzed.The heat dissipation mechanism and heat dissipation methods of the backhoe loader heat dissipation system were studied.The layout of the heat dissipation system was designed.(2)The engine's external characteristics and output characteristic curves as well as the torque converter's original characteristic curves were fitted by using spline interpolation method.The intersection of the engine and torque converter matching characteristic curves were solved by matlab software.The engine and torque changes were obtained.The output characteristics of the loader were analyzed.The traction characteristics of the backhoe loader were analyzed.The characteristics and working principle of the backhoe loader hydraulic system were studied.(3)The heat dissipation capacity of the backhoe loader cooling system was calculated,the radiator was designed and checked,and the CFD analysis of the backhoe loader radiating cabin was performed.Software simulation study on the flow field in the cooling chamber at different vehicle speeds was based on the CFX software.It was concluded that the cooling fan and wind deflector had a greater influence on the idle load and low speed conditions of the excavating loader.Four different cooling fans and radiators with different relative distances were simulated,and a comprehensive performance optimal solution wasobtained.The structure of the radiator hood was optimize to improve the internal flow field performance of the radiating cabin in high speed conditions.(4)The temperature test of the heat dissipation system of the excavating loader was experimentally designed.The optimization scheme of the relative position of the cooling fan and the radiator was verified by experiments.The test results before and after the optimization were compared and analyzed to obtain the running condition of the backhoe loader.Under the working conditions of driving and shoveling,the heat dissipation performance was improved after optimization,and the temperature of each radiator of the whole machine reached the standard.
