Virtual prototyping technology for mechanical system is also called dynamicsimulation technology of mechanical system. It's a kind of computer aidedenginering(CAE) technology ,which is developed with the rapid update of computertechnology in the 1980s. Virtual prototyping technology is mainly used to deal with the kinematics anddynamics analysis of mechanical system, it uses CAE technology to do this tocompute the position,velocity and acceleration of the system and it's every part atany time.At the same time,it educes the action forces and reaction forces the systemand it's every part's movement needed by solving the system of linear algebraicequations. Virtual prototyping technology for hydraulic system is a kind of technologyusing CAD technology and hydraulic simulation technology to build virtual modelof hydraulic system in computer,then forecast and study the static and dynamiccharacteristics of hydraulic system to achieve the optimization of hydraulic systemand the evaluation of design scheme . First,virtual prototyping technology for hydraulic system must can build themodel of hydraulic system and the interactional model between hydraulic systemand mechanical system, and it must allow people to set the function characteristicof the system in computer.Secend, Virtual prototyping model must can do static,modal and transient analysis of the virtual system. At last ,the way virtualprototyping technology used to build the model must be reasonable, reliable,andthe result must be exact. ADAMS is the most famous virtual prototyping software. One side,it's theapplications software of virtual prototyping analysis, on the other hand,it's thequadric exploitation tool of virtual prototyping analysis. ADAMS uses Lagrange equation to build the dynamics equation of the system.It selects three right-angle coordinates of the centroid of every rigid body in thesystem in inertia rference frame and three Euler Angles which used to ensure theorientation of the rigid body to be Descartes generalized coordinates, then it usesLagrange equation with multipliers to deal with holonomic mechanical systems andnonholonomic mechanical systems with several coordinates to educe the motionequation which uses Descartes generalized coordinates as variables.Backhoe loader is a sort of multipurpose construction machinery, equippedwith loader and backhoe attachments, based on a special or general chassis. It isorganically made up of front frame, rear frame, loader and backhoe. Its functioncontains shoveling, excavating and bulldozing.This paper mainly uses ADAMS /View and ADAMS / Hydraulic modules tosimulate and optimize the working attachment and hydraulic system of WZ25-20backhoe loader.it mainly contains the following works.1. Completed the kinematics analysis of working attachment,and made surethe operation mode and primary work condition of the machine.2. Completed the dynamics analysis of the working attachment,and computedthe woking resistance of loader and backhoe .3. Optimized the bucket mechanism, arm mechanism and boom mechanismof the backhoe based in there typical work conditions.4. Optimized the bucket mechanism and boom mechanism of the loader in thecondition of woking resistance symmetrically act on the loader attachment.5. Built the hydraulic system of the working attachment in ADAMS /Hydraulic,then combined the mechanical system and hydraulic system of the loaderand backhoe. Studied how the key parameters affect the hydraulic system. Then wecan find out a convenient , effective and economical way to improve the model.
