A large number of theoretical studies and engineering practices have confirmed that setting viscous dampers in the structure can effectively reducing the seismic response of the structure.Viscous dampers rely on support system forming damper energy dissipation system to play a role in the structure,such as diagonal damper system,chevron damper system,toggle-brace damper system and scissor jack damper system,etc.But these damper systems often take up large space and hinder vision,which does not satisfy the function of most building,and the work efficiency is limited by displacement magnification factor.In order to solve the shortcomings of the existing damper systems,this paper introduces two new types of damper systems,open-space damper system and efficient scissor-jack damper system,that from two aspects of reducing the space occupancy and improving the work efficiency.The open-space damper system can provide open space but the working efficiency is not high,the efficient scissor-jack damper system has a high working efficiency but occupies more space in the structural grid.At present,the same damper system is generally used in the shock absorbing structure.However,if different damper systems are used in different parts of the structure,they can exert their respective advantages,that not only achieve open space,but also can achieve better shock absorption performance.This paper synthesizes the advantages of the two new types of damper mechanisms and proposes an optimization method for the mixed arrangement of different damper systems.The main research content is as follows:(1)Introducing the basic structure and working principle of open-space damper system and efficient scissor-jack damper system,giving their displacement magnification factor formula,verifying the accuracy of displacement magnification factor formula through experiments.(2)Based on the genetic algorithm,proposes an optimization method for the mixed arrangement of different damper systems by using programming software MATLAB and finite element software SAP2000 application program interface.It can find the optimal placement position of for a certain number of dampers.On this basis,uses multi-objective genetic algorithm to optimize the placement and number of dampers.(3)Taking a ten-story steel frame structure as the research object,establish a three-dimensional structural model by software SAP2000,using above optimization method to optimize damper position.Compared with the exhaustive method,it shows that the optimization method is not only correct but also less time-consuming,compared the results of the mixed arrangement optimization results with the uncontrolled structure and uniform arrangement structure,it is shown that the mixed arrangement optimization results can achieve better effect.For multi-objective optimization results,an effective and economic damper arrangement scheme can be determined by setting appropriate multi-objective decision parameters.
