In our cities,the most common manifestation of the border is the fence.Walls as the most commonplace thing in our daily lives are all over the city and part of the cityscape.Our everyday daily routine always needs to get around the wall or cross the wall.Although most people are in a state of unconsciousness,this "border" profoundly affects our lives.To a certain extent,the numerous problems confronting the design of contemporary Chinese cities,settlements and even public spaces are reflected in the boundary-a ubiquitous,concrete and abstract form.This paper puts forward the "boundary problem" of urban enclosure space as the research object,and studies the case study of Xi'an Ming District and Southeast Conner.I hope that through in-depth examination and thinking on this issue,combined with the emerging problems in the present urban space and the social development in China and abroad,the public will be more closely integrated with the thinking of the public space and the social issues with the problems of the people The richer connotation in the space boundary indicates the possible directions in design practice.The main feature of the border is the division and isolation of space,but also has the function of connection and communication.It is the contradictory attribute of the border that has shaped the special prototype value of the border in the concept of human space and its social and cultural development.In this paper,we establish the theoretical basis of the boundary by examining the boundary attributes and effects,and use this theoretical tool to analyze the boundary types,characteristics,problems and mechanisms of the southeast corner of Xi'an Ming District.The border issue is mainly reflected in the closure of the planning structure,super-scale and inaccessibility,the waste of space and service resources,the destruction of urban space,texture and public life.In the investigation of the mechanism of the problem,it is found that the boundary reflects the deep-seated problems of the complex roles of urban culture,society,politics and economy,which reflect the appearance of different spatial relations.Based on the analysis,summarization of the existing research,this article combines the research on the residents who study the plots,the research results from top to bottom,descending from small to small on the research plots,through the design of the boundary space,And create the boundary space of the city in several aspects such as the boundary layer,the boundary line,the boundary area and the boundary surface,so as to put forward their own opinions on the renovation and reconstruction of the southeast corner of Xi'an's Ming District and try to base their opinion on the "space boundary" Understand the transformation of the old factory area within the site.This paper studies the most commonly used spatial interface of the city and seeks to explore design methods that effectively promote the urban border space and people's relations as well as the open space of the urban residential boundary space to the city.At the same time,it also serves as a theoretical analysis of the border between the public domain and the non-public domain.Common neighborhoods,communities,construction monomer interface has some reference value.Finally,it will provide a wide range of thinking and suggestions for creating a public space that promotes communication and interaction,a more humane urban space,and a more comprehensive optimization of the urban physical space environment.
