With the rapid development of the national economy, thermal power is still one of the main power generation methods in China, and the chimney,as the towering structure of the thermal power plant,is very important. At present, there are more and more chimney projects in power plants, such as a shared chimney and coal handling. The chimney works with chimneys and large diameter fiberglass reinforced concrete chimneys in trestle bridge are increasing.More than one thermal power generator shared a chimney or coal handling. The trestle bridge passed through the chimney and so on,resulting in multiple channels at the same section of the outer cylinder of the chimney. However, the current design specification for chimney design?GB50051-2013?[1]for the design of reinforced concrete outer cylinder only applies to the same section with a single hole?hole angle?70 degrees?or two holes?the sum of the hole angle?140 degrees and single hole angle?70 degrees?,and there is a single hole?hole angle>70 degrees?.For the same section, there is no provision for a single hole?hole angle>70 degree?,two holes?the sum of the hole angle>140 degree?,and more than two holes. And because the application of this kind of chimney structure is in the beginning stage, the domestic and foreign scholars have less research on more than two flue holes and circular opening chimneys on the same section. The structural engineers have no evidence to design such structures, which greatly restricts the engineering application of this kind of structure. Therefore,it is important to study the influence of the number of openings and openings on the force performance of the chimney, and it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to understand the influence of the number of openings, the height of opening, the height of the hole, the angle of the wind and the angle of the wind direction on the structure of the barrel of the reinforced concrete chimney. This paper is based on the 175 m reinforced concrete chimney project in the Datang Binzhou thermal power CO Generation?2x350MW?project,which is designed by the Shandong electric power engineering consulting and Design Institute, and studies the force performance of the chimney outer tube under wind load.First, the calculation method of downwind load, cross wind action, dead load, live load and additional moment is introduced, and the above load is theoretically calculated. After that, the finite element model is verified by comparing the calculated results and theoretical results with different units. Finally, the ANSYS software is used to simulate the finite element method, and the effects of different opening shape, hole number, hole height, hole center elevation, hole angle and wind direction angle on the mechanical behavior of reinforced concrete outer cylinder under wind load are studied, and the maximum equivalent stress and maximum position of the outer tube structure under the same parameters are analyzed. The variation of displacement and the development of cracks on the outer barrel body were obtained, and the mechanical performance and reasonable range of parameters of the external cylinder of the chimney under wind load were obtained. At the same time, the stress distribution of the steel bars around the hole is analyzed, and the most disadvantageous position of the circumferential reinforcement and the longitudinal reinforcement is obtained, which is convenient for the designers to strengthen the local reinforcement. The conclusion can provide a reference for the design of reinforced concrete outer casing in the area where wind loads are controlled.
