With China's strategy of “The Belt and Road” carrying forward,container volume in the Asia-Europe shipping line will usher a period of fast growth in the future.At the same time,key technology such as high-power marine engine,high-strength hull material and automatic control system becomes gradually mature,thus further promoting container ships to enter the era of ULCS.The upsizing trend of container ships sets a higher demand for the port facility and operation process.How to reasonably and efficiently organize large ships' berthing and handling operation at the same time has become a problem that each pivotal port needs to solve.To this end,this paper aims at the container truck configuration in the case of ultra large container ships stevedoring simultaneously.With the use of multi-agent simulation technology,study is carried out towards scheduling mode and configuration number of container trucks under specific operation technology scheme.The judgment of overall port operation efficiency is based on a number of indicators.First of all,the paper summarizes related research results at home and abroad.An overview is made on the large-scale development trend of container ships.Traditional operation technology is compared with new operation technology such as binary horizontal transportation operation and binary quay crane operation.The pros and cons analysis is conducted on two types of internal container truck scheduling mode.Then,detailed description is issued in allusion to the related issues of ultra large container ships stevedoring simultaneously.The logic model of vessel,internal container truck and external container truck is analyzed through flowcharts.The simulation model is built with the use of multi-agent technology.Elements of container port handling operation are simulated by entity-type agent and process-type agent.Finally,terminal operation cost formula is ameliorated with one container port under construction as the research example.Simulation experiments are designed according to different handling operation techniques of container terminal and scheduling schemes of container trucks.Numerical analysis is made to determine the optimal container truck configuration number corresponding to three operation technology schemes and to compare different operation technology schemes with the same container truck configuration number.Combined with the container terminal operation cost formula,the operation simulation model in case of ultra large container ships stevedoring simultaneously is able to provide decision reference comments for handling technology scheme of container terminal and scheduling mode of container truck and to recommend container truck configuration number.Thus the paper research results are significant to realize efficient operation and green development of container port.
