The Research Of The Brook Stone Landscape Of Gushanchong Village

Through the research of the brook stone landscape in Ancient Shanchong Village,the thesis introduces the planning experience of regional harmony between the brook stone landscape and landform of the traditional village,and it also reveals the construction experience of application of local building materials in public buildings,residential buildings,farmlands,and roads,etc.This research helps to find out the complicated culture connotation,technology and ecological experience of the application of the local building materials,and moreover it makes the landscape heritage Minnan rich.Meanwhile,it has important reference value for the control of traditional culture,tourism development,and the protection of ancient-village legacy,etc.The paper gets information by literature review,fieldwork research,and multi-role feature interview and then applies a variety of scene diagrams to restore the historical information and cultural connotation and other methods to research.The thesis mainly has three parts to analyze the research:The first part: the background research.It introduces the different landform features of stone villages in the whole country and the landform feature of Minnan is different because it has formed a great variety of well-made stone landscapes covering many places.The stonework has influence towards the form of the whole Minan landscape and it has regional features as a special form full of experience and wisdom of the villagers,which is the start point of the research.The second part: the main research.This thesis explores the landscape heritage and building wisdom through the overall village scenes,the technology,the culture manifestations and ecological experience the brook stone.In the aspect of overall village scenes,it forms the feature of many kinds and harmony as the brook stone applied in all the building aspects with the influence of Fengshui and ritual system.In the aspect of technology of the brook stone,it demonstrates that the brook stone construction mainly relies on the trial and error.In the aspect of culture manifestations,it explores the combination of the brook stone and different buildings full of different cultures,which make the regional building materials culture rich.In the aspect of ecological experience,it illustrates that full life cycle of the brook stone has the small disturbance towards the ecological environment and can create multi-pore spaces for the living things to provide living spaces.The third part: the enlightenment and suggestion.To rethink the damage crisis of stone landscape of Ancient Shanchong village,the modern building material as the first choice of contemporary rural construction and the trend to build the villa in the western style,the thesis has discussed the methods to protect the village landscape features,to lead the villagers to reestablish village regulations and non-governmental agreements,and to earn the attention of the non-profit organizations and social capital,hoping to protect and perpetuate traditional village culture.
