Regional Cultural Expressions In City Square Landscapes

In the rapid development of globalization,communication between different cultures is becoming more and more close.However,globalization has also caused great impact on regional culture while improving people’s living standard.Regional cultural diversity is destroyed by the assimilation model,which has a great influence on national culture and regional culture.City Square is an important activity space for people.It is also an open space with the richest artistic charm and public nature in modern urban space environment.Under the impact of foreign culture,it is necessary to preserve the "initial heart" of culture.Based on this,the subject of this study is put forward,and the combination of theory and practice case analysis is adopted to realize the protection and inheritance of the regional culture through the landscape design of the city square.First,through a comprehensive analysis of the present situation of the urban square landscape design of China’s regional culture,it is found that the landscape design of the city square in China is faced with a serious development dilemma,which is attributed to the lack of regional cultural connotation,resulting in the lack of characteristics of the city,and through the customs design of the city square and the local culture.It is found that regional culture is the spiritual and cultural appeal of modern society.The research points out that regional cultural characteristics should be expressed in the design of urban square landscape to meet people’s psychological needs and conform to people’s behavior characteristics as the design goal,fully embody the connotation of urban regional culture and display the spirit of the city.The vitality of culture strengthens the connection between regional characteristic culture and people’s life,so that regional culture can be extended.Secondly,the effective design principles and strategies are put forward in view of the lack of geographical and cultural details in the square landscape design.In terms of design principles,we should follow the principle of regional uniqueness,harmony and unity of landscape and art and practicality.In the design strategy,the landscape language rhetoric can be used to convey the artistic conception of the regional culture of the square landscape,and to add the emotional communication between people and the landscape by using the landscape image of the Chinese classical gardening techniques as a reference.It also needs to extract and innovate traditional elements of regional culture.In addition,this paper also puts forward six ways to create regional culture in the landscape of city square,including the axis method of square landscape space,the image creation method of classical garden,the combination of local traditional materials and modern materials,the reappearance of local landscape,regional cultural symbols and so on,for the reconstruction of the regional cultural landscape of the city square.The possibility of practice is provided.Then,according to the general situation of Chengdu Tianfu Square Landscape design project,the actual case analysis is carried out.Through the excavation and analysis of Chengdu regional cultural elements and regional cultural characteristics,the application of regional culture and expression technology is verified,and the applicability of the design method and the actual case should be further verified.From the design level,it proposes feasible solutions to design urban squares with local characteristics.However,through case analysis,it is pointed out that the expression ofTianfu Square in the regional culture is still slightly inadequate,there is a neglect of the ecological expression of regional culture,the lack of unity in the periphery of the square and the lack of human nature in the landscape,and further improvement.Finally,a general summary of the full text is carried out.In general,it is found that the lack of regional culture is the most important problem in the square landscape and even the urban landscape design in China,blindly pursuing modernization and "new differentiation",ignoring the expression of traditional culture and the inheritance of cultural spirit.In the face of this situation,we can realize the innovation of cultural elements by means of reference,structure and reorganization of the traditional regional cultural elements,and combine the six landscape construction techniques to improve the cultural connotation of the square landscape and the expression of the image,and create the urban landscape with the rich culture of the rich region.
