Mechanical equipment or engineering structure will vibrate for their own structure characteristics under the external forces.And when the excitation frequency reaches the natural frequency of the main structure,it will vibrate in resonance,which causes damage to the structure.Tuned mass dampers are used as subsystems to eliminate or weaken the vibration of the main system.The design parameters of TMD affect directly the damping effect.So parameter optimizing and how to design for TMD are studied in this thesis.The thesis includes some aspects as follows:1.The damping principle of tuned mass damper is introduced,when the primary system is damped,and the influence of damping ratio,natural frequency and damping ratio on vibration reduction of main system is studied.Particle swarm optimization(PSO)is used to optimize the parameters of the tuned mass damper,with the minimum amplitude of the main system as the optimization objective.2.According to the characteristics of small space and heavy load-bearing,a new structure of spring mechanism is proposed,in which uses the angle of rotation for the helical groove to adjust the stiffness.and use the finite element method to analyze the stiffness characteristics of the mechanism,which correctness is verified by experiments.3.the dimension of the clearance damper is designed and use Fluent to simulate and analyze the internal flow field.At the same time,the damping characteristics of oil damping structure with adjustable damping is put forward.and its effectiveness is tested by experiments.Therefore,the paramaters of tuned mass damper are optimazed to achieve the good effect of vibration reduction.And the variable stiffness mechanism and damping mechanism of the damper are designed and analyzed,so that the damper can adapt to complex working conditions and small space and large damping situation.
