The intelligent water meter system in which all the services were coupled in a system could't meet the development needs of modern water supply enterprises because of the continuous expansion,the growing variety of business types and the highly degree of communication between the many information.The purpose of coming up with a new software architecture is to improve the management of water companies,operating levels and operational efficiency.In this way,the enterprise could improve business competitiveness.In this paper,the business requirements of intelligent water meter system and design and implementation of communication interface between intelligent water meter system have been researched.The intelligent water meter system has separated two part which were data collection and revenue.It was easy to facilitate their respective business to achieve.The paper developed a REST-style interface to meet their communicating needs which between the two subsystems.In the paper,the main work and achievements includingThe business of water industry has been study and analysed.The business needs of intelligent water meter system has been handled.Two main business revenue and acquisition were splited into two subsystems,Content of communication between revenue system and collection system have been study.The construction of the internal communication interface of the intelligent water meter system have been achieved by using the REST style.The communication data between the two systems have been summarized and the functional of the interface have been divided into four parts: water enterprise communication,area communication,center communication,water meter communication by organizing the data.The data involved in the communication process have been abstracted into resources,A unified interface have been design in RESTful specification.The Spring Boot framework have been used to build the interface in the style of building blocks,Communication between the revenue and the collection system in the intelligent water meter system have been achieved,The system of high expansion and low coupling have been completed.The high-concurrency module of the interface have been achieved by using the Zoo Keeper distributed framework.Design test cases,stress testing and unit testing of interface have been achieved in the Jmeter platform.Its bug and suggestion have been found by test results.The actualoperation and test results show that the REST style interface can meet the communication requirements between the revenue system and the collection system and the business requirements of the intelligent water meter system.
