Study On Plant Selection And Arrangement Of Sopnge City In Xi Xian New Area

Since the construction of the Sponge City in China,most of the studies on the construction of the Sponge City have been concentrated on the engineering level.The research on the selection,function,and arrangement of plants has lagged behind,making it impossible to reasonably select plants during the construction of the Sponge City.The plant design lack of indigenization and systematic and targeted consideration and design in plant landscape arrangement.To a certain extent,it restricted the construction and development of the Sponge City.It was studied that the selection and arrangement of plants which planted in low impact development facilities of roof gardens,residential district,roads,landscape green spaces and parks.Plant species and arrangement which is frequently used in Sponge City of Fengxi New city of Xixian New Area was added up.Secondly,through the comparative analysis of related classic cases at domestic and overseas,the it was summarized the problems in plant selection and arrangement of Sponge City in Fengxi New city of Xixian New Area.At last,It was put forward that the principle of selecting and arranging the plants in the Sponge City.Based on the results of the research and reading of relevant literature,Sponge City plants species that can be applied to the construction of Xi’an Sponge City was summarized.And it was drew that the plant arrangement patterns in the low impact development facilities which were frequently used during the research.It was provided that relevant theoretical foundation and experience for the further construction of the Sponge City in China.
