Research On Traditional Settlement Pattern In The Southwest Of Hubei Province

The southwest of Hubei is the main field of Tujia people’s life.Because of its unique natural and geographical environment and social and humanistic environment,including special social order,production and life style,religious belief and cultural customs,a distinctive and unique Tujia folk house and settlement have been formed.The traditional settlement of Tujia Nationality in the southwest of Hubei province bears the material cultural heritage of the very representative Tujia nationality.It shows a large number of social economic development,historical and cultural inheritance and the rise and fall of the dynasty in the Southwest Hubei Province,as well as the material civilization and spirit in the region.The materialization and witness of the development of civilization.However,with the gradual progress of society and great changes in lifestyle,traditional culture has been strongly impacted,and traditional settlements are also facing decline and destruction.The study of traditional settlement forms,enriching the research data of the traditional settlement in the southwest of Hubei Province,protecting the traditional settlement and its architectural form with retained value,is the need for the inheritance and development of the national traditional culture.This paper analyzes the formation environment of the traditional settlement form of Tujia Nationality in the southwest of Hubei Province,and discusses the formation background of the traditional settlement form in Southwest Hubei Province from two aspects of natural factors and social factors,and the formation of the traditional settlement form in the Southwest Hubei Province.In the classification of the elements,there are mainly four aspects: the form of settlement layout,the form of residence,the form of the road and the spatial form of the node,and then the overall morphological structure of the settlement is formed.Then,from the microcosmic point of view,the four aspects of the settlement form are analyzed one by one,and the layout of the traditional settlement of the Tujia family is analyzed in turn,followed by the people.The form of settlement is expounded,then the road form in the settlement is emphasized,and the spatial form of the node is analyzed and studied objectively.At the same time,the three typical settlements are investigated in the field,and the spatial outline of the elements which constitute the settlement form and the interaction between the elements and the settlement are emphatically studied.The three settlements are compared and analyzed with the organization,combined with the characteristics of the settlement.Finally,the protection strategy and the future development direction are put forward according to the present situation of the traditional settlement of Tujia Nationality in Southwest Hubei.The traditional settlements of Tujia Nationality in the southwest of Hubei Province have distinctive regional characteristics,and systematically study their traditional settlement forms,explore the elements and the relationship between them,in order to accumulate valuable information for the research of traditional settlements,and make people fully aware of the historical and cultural values of the traditional settlements,and make clear to them.And the importance of protection.
