Aircrafts and typical ground objects have an important value in military applications.In order to get the training samples for the research of target detection,recognition and monitoring,we need a software to achieve infrared image simulation of typical aircrafts and ground objects in different conditions,including different seasons,different weather conditions,different time of the day and different detection bands.Depending on Visual Studio 2010 environment,we built a model of Aircrafts and typical ground Objects in OpenGL.Besides,the kernel of RadThermIR,which is a heat-analysis tool,is embedded into this algorithm to implement the theoretical analysis of heat transfer and infrared radiation.Ultimately,we proposed a simulation method to calculate the infrared radiation intensity and build up synthetic infrared images of Aircrafts and typical ground Objects.The thesis mainly introduced the basic theory of modeling,infrared radiation simulation of aircraft targets and typical features,infrared texture research in theory analysis and experiment.At last,we analyzed the experiment results.This paper includes four parts mainly:(1)Starting from the basic principle of infrared imaging system,this paper discussed the framework of infrared image simulation.We introduced in detail the building of geometry model,temperature field model and radiation field model,which set up the base of the following article.(2)With the help of the kernel of RadThermIR which is used to calculate the thermal radiation and the computer graphics tools in OpenGL,we implements a simulation algorithm which can realize the infrared image simulation in different seasons,different weather conditions,different times of the day and different detection bands.We built the meshing geometric model with 3ds Max and calculated the value of the temperature and radiation in each node.And then we connected the value of each temperature and radiation through the grid which is composed by nodes.With the help of OpenGL,we controled the viewpoint of the three-dimensional radiation model and mapping the radiation value to the corresponding grey value.The infrared simulation images of corresponding band will presented at last.(3)Starting from the modified local LBP binary mode,we did a thorough research on the formation of infrared texture.With the help of Image Quilting texture synthesis algorithm,we adopts local binary mode LBP algorithm to extract the LBP feature maps of the sample figure.And through the LBP feature maps we will find the suitable texture-block from the sample texture block.Then the MEBC(Minimum Error Boundary Cut)will help us find the good way to matching the adjacent textureblock.Putting the infrared texture nicely to the 3d model of the radiation will help us get the high-fidelity infrared simulation images.(4)Comparing the simulation results with the real data,the airport aircraft target and typical ground infrared characteristic analysis results are reliable,combining the infrared model calculation method and infrared texture simulation.Implementation results show that the simulation accuracy of the infrared image achieved over 80%,taking the similarity of image grey scale as the evaluation index.The paper shows that the algorithm of the infrared image simulation is effective and can be widely used.The infrared image texture synthesis algorithm based on the modified local LBP can effectively improve the fidelity of the simulation images.The method can simulate the aircraft targets and typical airport with high feasibility.It will provide rich training samples for automatic target detection,recognition and tracking of the aircrafts on the airport,which will have an important value in military applications and academic significance.
