With the development of military optical technology, the air combat environment is becomingcomplex, and the infrared weapon system development costs continue to grow. Each time of the missileflight test is very expensive, so the simulation of IR imaging guidance is very important.The actual combat environment has aircraft and missiles, and at the moment it is required to obtainthe target and background infrared radiation characteristics and influence factors of infrared guidance.According to these requirements, the technology of using computer to simulate IR images is discussedin this paper.First of all, from the aspect of theory to establish a typical target aircraft F-16dynamics andkinematics model, the nonlinear dynamic inverse methods are used to realize the goal of the motorcontrol. The target of radiation characteristics is calculated, and the sun on the target radiation effect isanalyzed.Then another important link in the battle environment, IR imaging missile is setted up. In thispaper, the most widely used in engineering proportional guidance method is discussed on trajectoryguidance.The next the background radiation and atmospheric through rate is analyzed, the form of theinterpolation calculation method is used to get the current position of the atmospheric through rate.Finally, C language and OpenGL Function library on the above model is used for softwareimplementation. The coordinate transformation between the missile and target, the objective geometricmodeling, the target and the background of infrared image generation, the whole battle environmentdynamic realization, the parameters of concerned about data storage are all discussed.This paper researched in infrared radiation images has practical applications. One is the actualcombat efficiency of solar radiation joined and the produced infrared target image realistic. Two is theoperational environment of various important aspects of both the theoretical modeling and softwareimplementation. In the guidance process, the aircraft within a certain range of the escape maneuvering,the missile and the target’s special relations real-time generation, has certain operation significance.The paper introduces the key technology and theory method; the air combat environment simulation ofIR images has a certain reference value for the future.
